Wow, already I am doing so good at keeping this up.  Some things never change. I guess that's a good sign because we have been so busy here.  We have been doing a lot of exploring!  Every weekend we try to go somewhere that we've never been.  Which at this point is every where, so it's pretty easy. During the week we see alot of water because the kids love it! And lets face it it's a great way to cool off.
We're trying to decide if the bats flying out from the Congress bridge is for real, or if the joke's on us.  We have now been 3 X and still no go.  We were so determined this last time we went super early and stayed super late, but still no sea of bats.
Corbin is doing much better.  There are probably 20 boys in our ward that are in his same age group... so he is now making so many friends and loving Texas.  He still occasionally asks to go back to Utah, but I think he is enjoying the adventure now.
For those who know Corbin, he loves to sing! Or at least he sings everywhere he goes.  So I decided to look for a choir or something he could be a part of.  I called "Austin's Childrens Choir" and he told me that Corbin was too young.  That he needed to be at least 6 years old and be able to read.  He contacted me back and said that he would be interested in at a least listening to Corbin sing.  So we went to an audition for the choir and Corbin did amazing.  I was much more stressed than he was.  He sang with the piano and didn't miss a beat.  I think the director was very impressed for a 4 year old.  Anywho, he made it.  He starts practice in August.  We're still going to put him in baseball(that being his favorite sport), but I'm so glad he gets to be a part of music too.
Kayla is adorable!  Talk about feisty!  That's her new name.  She knows what she wants and how she wants it and that's that. No messing with Kayla.  She is turning into a little islander girl with bright blue eyes, golden hair, and dark skin.  Oh and did I mention she is taking her clothes off everywhere we go.  I thought it was just the hot weather, but I'm starting to think not.
Corbin did get eaten by red ants.. I took him to the doctor's cause it freaked me out.  He had bites all over the back of his legs.  With all the bugs and crazy creatures I've seen here I wasn't sure what to think. Now I won't freak out so quickly.  :)
We went camping over Memorial Day weekend with our landlords, who have become great friends of ours. It was soooo much fun! I love camping.  It was the first time our kids had ever been camping.  It reminded me of being at Lake Mead.  We swam in beautiful warm water with a great beach front.  We played games and talked by the camp fire.  JP played his guitar and entertained us all.  Great times.
Tarantula!  You know it's big when you see it crawling across your lawn that hasn't been mowed.  We took a picture on our phone.  I'll see if I can get it on here.
We have gone on several trails that have been so fun.  Last week we went to Twin Falls and Sculpture Falls with rope swings, swimming, cliff jumping and falls... Corbin never wanted to leave.  We had to drag him out of there.  Xoe, our dog, was hilarious! She didn't want to get wet and so she jumped like a deer from rock to rock avoiding the water.  I think everyone stopped to watch because it was pretty incredible.
We went country dancing... I'm not going to say more than that, but they didn't kick us out so that was good. :)
This week we went to something called Blues on the Green.  Every other Wednesday they have a big live band concert at a huge park.  Corbin brought his friend Abe, and the kids had so much fun.  Everywhere we go restaurant or park there are live bands playing.  We love it!  This city never stops singing.
I've been running with a friend and our goal is to discover all the adventurous trails.  Today we went running on this old property with a home from the 1850's on it.  So fun!  And so beautiful.  The trees are so old and gnarled.  I almost ran right on a snake.
We love the people here!  We have met so many amazing and wonderful people.  The ward here will not let me hermitfy myself.  They are so active and gladly pull you into the ward family.  The women here love girls nights out and take care of each other.
I could go on forever, but wanted to end with that I love my house.  It's small but so comfortable.  We use every square foot of the house, and are so happy..  It's definitely easier to clean, but more than that it feels like home.  It's funny I don't care what anyone around me has, I'm just grateful for what we have.  We are very blessed to be in this beautiful area.
I pray all is well with my friends and family all over..

Much Love

This is a video of JP and Corbin Jamming together.  So cute!  Corbin calls it his rock n roll video.  He is making the words up as he goes so pay close attention to what he is saying.

Here are some fun pics... I'm am terrible at taking my camera with me when we go places.
