We had a great big Easter Egg hunt at the local park where hundreds of children came. The weather couldn't have been more perfect. And whenever we go back to South Carolina I am always reminded what the word "Green" really means.
We later had the traditional Easter egg hunt with all of JP's family. This is where JP's Papa puts money in an egg for every grandchild and all the wives. Then the Fathers sneak off and hide them. It was so fun to watch all the children running and searching for the egg with their name on it. The husbands hid all the wives eggs a little harder. Mine ended up being inside the BBQ grill, under a spider infested porch. All I can say is I don't get angry, I just get even, JP.

We flew kites on the beach, built sand castles, played in the water and baked in the sun. It was so so so so much fun. Exactly what the doctor ordered. JP's Mom, Michelle, took family pictures of us all on the beach. The tricky part, as always, was keeping Corbin in one spot. If you turned your head for too long he was jumping in a puddle or digging in the sand. Keeping clean for the pictures wasn't an option. We were grateful for the pictures that we got. My favorite pictures are when Corbin is being himself and adventuring all over the beach.
Mom and Dad Giles have this double wide motor home that is incredible. It made it so much fun because instead of taking two cars everywhere we could all jump in and do everything together.
Corbin loved adventuring with his cousin Ayden! In fact he asks to play with him everyday. They had so much fun together.

The second week we all went to Greenville South Carolina, where JP's parents home is. All the boys had to go back to work that week, so the girls and children hung out going to parks and shopping. It was a fun and adventurous trip!!
The kids are doing great!! Corbin sings all the time. I love it. He takes after me and even if he doesn't know the words will make up his own. I love watching he and JP play guitar next to each other, singing puff the magic dragon, or twinkle little star. Kayla is a screamer. To get your attention or just cause she feels like it she will scream. It was cute to start off with and now I'm going to need to go buy ear plugs. She is so independent. She has to eat by herself, carry everything, and walk by herself everywhere. She is talking quite a bit now.... words only a mother could understand. Despite the lack of sleep, we love being parents. I love JP with all my heart. He is my bestfriend in the entire world. He has incredible love, and patience. When I'm super tired or things get tough he won't let me fall. When I was sad the other day and my heart was heavy he held me and said, "Amber no matter what we always have each other" It meant the world to me because together I feel like we can conquer anything. I don't know what I did to deserve him, but I thank God everyday.
Well I better end the Giles saga for now... Til who knows when... :) Love you all!
