Kayla's Blessing, Graduation, and Family Fun

Kayla was blessed Sunday April 26th, 2009

Nanna, Pappa, and JP's cousin Joanna and family.  This is Pappa, Gigi, Corbin and Ayden at the blessing.

Amber's Mom and Dad have 17 grandchildren!!!!  Here they all are together.  It was wild to get them all in the same spot.  As you can see Corbin was loving it.  

JP's family at Jump n Jacks.  JP's sisters Xan and Kristen are both expecting little girls soon. Kayla is so excited to have two girl cousins to play with.  This is Xan's little boy who is two months older than Corbin.  April 25th was his birthday so we were all able to celebrate together.

Because JP was graduating and family would be in town we also scheduled Kayla's blessing the same weekend.  JP's sisters and their families flew into town and my sister Jessica and her family came in to town.  It was a busy weekend to say the least.  Saturday we had lots of fun at the park and at Jump n Jacks with all the kids.  It happened to be our nephew, Ayden's Bday, so we celebrated at Jump n Jacks with JP's and I's families.  It was wild but so much fun!  

JP's Graduation

Graduation!!!  We finally made it to the light at the end of the tunnel.  JP Graduated April 23rd and 24th.  His parents and Nanna and Pappa flew in for the occasion.  I am so proud of JP for his accomplishments.  In the course of his graduation he was married, had two children, has upheld two jobs, maintained church callings, and stayed sane throughout the process.   There have been hard times, but they only make all the good times worth it.  When things got hard JP has been the rock for our family.  No matter how tired he was or how much homework he had he never complained and the minute he got home he would make sure the kids and I were okay before picking up any homework.   His graduation signifies such great accomplishments for him and within our family.  We are so grateful for our family and for the many blessings the Lord has given to us along the way.  We couldn't have done it without him.  We also would like to thank our parents for all their love, support, and sacrifice.  There's no way we could have made it this far without them.   This has been such a fun journey and we look forward to the next adventures life has to bring.
