Boys Will be Boys

Boys Will be Boys!!!

Hopefully this doesn't offend anyone by posting this picture, but I felt it necessary in telling my story. No, this is not Corbin, but due to the fact that I did not have my camera on me I had to borrow a picture. Corbin has been doing and saying some of the funniest things lately so I had to write them down so I would never forget them. I didn't have my video camera on me, but when I get to Heaven these will be one of the home videos I will be looking up.

If there are three experiences that most accurately portray "a day in the life of Corbin", it would be these.
First... last week we walked to the park to get some of the kids' energy out. The park fields filled up quickly with little league baseball teams, and the wind picked up so we decided to head home before it was too cold.. On our way there Corbin ran to the bottom of the hill right in front of one of the teams, pulled his pants down and began peeing. Much like the picture above. The funniest part was JP's reaction. He was mortified and began running down the hill after him(like he was going to stop him) The coach looked up at me and just started laughing. I'm sure he could relate. :)

Second... yesterday we are playing at my sisters house. Becca and I were busy catching up with gossip, while the children were running around the house entertaining themselves. Suddenly Sienna ran in screaming bloody murder that Corbin was peeing! Where? You might ask.. Well we we wanted to know too and ran to find out. We caught the tale end of the "deed", and found him peeing right into Becca's indoor dog kennel on the dogs bed. The dog had ran to the back corner trying to avoid the line of fire. My first instinct was to get mad, but then Becca told me to just get a picture. So on my phone I have this priceless picture and have no idea how to transfer it to this blog(electronically retarded, you might say). All day I kept thinking why has Corbin all of the sudden decided to pee in random places. Then I decided it must be naturally ingrained into all boys because it seems to be a popular trend.

Third... As mother's we all know it is hard sometimes to find a moment to yourself in a day. Let alone take a shower or go to the bathroom. Well this morning I snuck away to go to the bathroom and have a moment of silence when Corbin comes running in and screaming that he needs to go to the bathroom and I needed to get off. Yeah... not happening. I'm talented, but not that talented. So I told him to just hold it for two seconds I was almost done. Apparently that was not happening either because he dropped his pants, opened up the shower door and pee'd into the shower. True story. I guess it was better than in the middle of the floor or all over his pants. Pretty smart thinking if you ask him.

Corbin definitely keeps us on our toes, and we love him for it!
He is totally into bug catching right now, can tell you his whole name, which street and city he lives in, tells everyone Adtkin is his best friend(our neighbor), sings I am a child of God(so precious), he wants everything that Kayla has, and so much more. He is a ball of fun and adventure.

  3. Your boy isn't the only one. All of Summer's boys have gone through that phase...except worse, she finds the pee spots on weird places like in the vent in their room or in the toy basket. I had been waiting for Park to start doing that when Annicka came in and told me that Park peed out on the cement slab in our backyard. So it begins!
